Melissa Tanaka, a senior at Stanford University, placed second in the women's 6-kilometer 'B" race at the 13th Nuttycombe Wisconsin Cross Country Invitational at the Thomas Zimmer Championship course in Madison. Tanaka clocked 20:51.5 to help Stanford take third overall with 69 points.
